Miami Dolphins schedule released

The Miami Dolphins 2010 schedule has been released, which features a challenging start to the season.

The Dolphins will travel to face the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings before hosting the New York Jets and New England Patriots.

After an early bye, the Dolphins then have three of four games on the road that come against Green Bay, Baltimore and Cincinnati. They also play Pittsburgh at home. Talk about a murderer’s row.

The schedule then takes a real turn for the better in the second half, with games at New York and New England being by far the most difficult.

Included in that second half schedule is contests against the Lions, Bills, Browns and Raiders.

Dolphins acquire Marshall

The Miami Dolphins have acquired disgruntled wide receiver Brandon Marshall from the Denver Broncos.

In exchange, the Dolphins have sent their second-round round draft picks for both this year and next year to Denver.

The move immediately upgrades the Dolphins wide receiver corps and gives young quarterback Chad Henne a legit target.

The Dolphins wasted little time locking him up to a long-term deal, signing him to a four-year deal worth over $47 million.

Bill Parcells has never been afraid to take chances on players with questionable character, and it will be interesting to see how this move pans out.
